Basiskort for young person 18+
A young person between 18 and 25 can now order a Basiskort and will receive the customer type Young – at a price that is lower than single tickets.
Basiskort for people with disabilities
As a person with a disability, you can travel at a lower price. You must request a change of customer type once you have created an account in the Self-Service system.
Special prices for companions of people with disabilities:
If you are travelling as the customer type ‘Disabled’, you may bring a companion at the child fare by checking the companion in as ‘Child’ on your Basiskort.
Later in 2026, the customer type can be set up for an automatic companion fare.
For people with visual impairments:
There are two tactile markers on the side of the Basiskort, which can help you locate the correct card in your wallet when you travel with Basiskort. In addition, there are distinct sounds for check‑in, check‑out, and errors, helping you ensure that you have performed the intended action when you check your Basiskort in or out during your journey.
Basiskort for pensioners (over or under 67 years)
As a pensioner you travel at a lower price.
- Over 67 years: Customer type is changed automatically based on date of birth
- Under 67 years (early retirement, senior pension or early pension): You request to have your customer type changed via the Self-Service system
Basiskort for children
Basiskort for children will be launched later in 2026.
Remember that you can still bring up to two children under the age of 12 for free on your journey, just as you were used to with Rejsekort. Children under 12 may bring one other child under 12.
The anonymous Basiskort
With the anonymous Basiskort, it is possible to travel anonymously by public transport. The anonymous Basiskort will be introduced later in 2026, and it will be available with the customer types ‘Child’ and ‘Adult’.
You purchase and top up the anonymous Basiskort with cash or a payment card at selected sales locations, and you do not need to provide an email address or link a payment method.
You can order a Basiskort via the Self-Service system. Later, it will also be possible to order a Basiskort at selected sales locations.
The price for a personal Basiskort is DKK 50.
To order a personal Basiskort, you need an email address and either MobilePay or a payment card. Later, it will be possible to order without an email address and with other payment methods.
Ordering via Self-Service
How to do it:
- Log in or create account
- Order your Basiskort
- Receive your Basiskort by post (10-14 days)
Good to know when ordering via Self-Service:
- You need an email address to create an account and order a Basiskort. Later, it will be possible to order without an email address and with other payment methods.
- You pay with MobilePay or payment card.
- If you already have the Rejsekort app, you can log in using the email address you used when creating your account in the app.
- If you pay with a payment card, whether an additional security verification with MitID (app and code display) is required depends on your agreement with your card issuer.
- Your customer type is determined based on your date of birth. You can change your customer type during the setup process if you are a senior under the age of 67 or a person with a disability.
There is no expiry date on the card in the Basiskort system, and therefore no expiry date printed on the card, unlike what you are used to with Rejsekort.
