Thursday, 28 May 2026 will be the last day where you can travel using your physical Rejsekort. Both the cards and the Rejsekort stands will close because the stands are based on old technology and need to be replaced.

How to travel in the future
Even if the physical Rejsekort is being closed, you can fortunately still travel by bus, train, metro and light rail. Read more here and see an overview of your options below:
Rejsekort app: Check in and out in the app and pay for your trips on an ongoing basis at the same price that you know from the physical Rejsekort.
Rejsebillet app: Buy your prepaid ticket, Commuter Card or Youth Card in the app.
Basiskort – physical card: Check in and out on stands and pay for your trips on an ongoing basis at the same price that you know from the physical Rejsekort. Travel anonymously by topping up the card.
