Basiskort for customers under guardianship
For persons over the age of 18 who are under guardianship and are unable to order a personal Basiskort themselves, the following options are available:
1. Anonymous Basiskort
The anonymous Basiskort can be purchased and topped up using either a payment card or cash at selected points of sale. No user profile needs to be created, and the guardian may assist with purchase and top-up if needed. Read more about the anonymous Basiskort. The anonymous Basiskort will be available for sale from 21 May.
2. Basiskort administered by the guardian – with a power-of-attorney card
If the anonymous Basiskort cannot be used, you as a guardian can apply for a Basiskort for a customer over the age of 18 (the ward). Once we have processed the application and registered the guardianship, you will be able to create the customer (the ward) on mit.rejsekort.dk and from there add a payment method, order a Basiskort and, if relevant, apply for customer types such as disability or early retirement pension on behalf of the customer.
Please note that this requires a unique email address per guardianship so that you can log in, view journeys and receive separate receipts for the ward’s journeys. You must also have a payment card (power-of-attorney card) linked to the ward’s account, which you can use to order the Basiskort and pay for the ward’s journeys.
How to proceed as a guardian:
Submit the order form
Complete this order form. You must provide the ward’s name and date of birth, as well as your own name, address, telephone number and a unique email address. As a guardian, you must also declare that you are the legal guardian, accept financial responsibility for the customer relationship, and accept the terms and conditions for Basiskort on behalf of the ward.
Create a profile
Once we have processed the application and confirmed that the guardianship has been registered, you create the ward’s profile yourself via mit.rejsekort.dk. You enter the ward’s name and date of birth and also provide the unique email address that you will use to manage the ward’s profile and journeys (see prerequisites above).
Apply for a customer type
Once the ward’s profile has been created and you are logged in, you can, if relevant, apply for the customer type disability or pensioner under 67 years of age. This is done in self-service under Settings.
Order Basiskort
When you are logged in, you can order a Basiskort for the ward. During the ordering process, you must link a payment card (power-of-attorney card) in accordance with the prerequisites above. The payment card is used both to pay for the Basiskort itself and for completed journeys. The Basiskort is sent to the address stated when ordering, either the ward’s or the guardian’s, possibly with a c/o address.
The ward can travel
The Basiskort is sent by post within 14 days. An invoice for the purchase of the Basiskort as well as daily receipts are automatically sent to the guardian’s unique email address used when creating the profile.
