Overview of your Commuter card
It is purchased for 30 days and is valid from the start date you selected.
On the final day of validity, the commuter pass expires at 3:59 AM.
If you need to travel after 4:00 AM the following day, your commuter pass will no longer be valid, and you must renew it in the app.
After this, the remaining period within the validity period can be refunded with a deduction equivalent to 8 days of validity.
A Commuter Pass on Rejsebillet can be fully refunded up until the first day of validity. Within the validity period, the remaining period can be refunded with a deduction equal to 8 days of validity.
You can purchase a Commuter Pass on Rejsebillet with validity starting from the date your Commuter Pass on Rejsekort expires.
Remember to cancel any renewal agreement on the Commuter Pass with Rejsekort, so you do not end up purchasing two Commuter Passes.
Commute20
Please note that Pendler20 is only valid in the DOT area, which includes Zealand, Lolland, Falster, and Møn.
With Pendler20, you receive 20 flexible travel days within 60 consecutive days, approximately two months in succession.
Additionally, the following applies:
- Pendler20 is ideal if you travel only a few days a week.
- You activate the days you travel directly in the app.
- You cannot bring companions on Pendler20.
- You can purchase Pendler20 for your child.
- The price will appear in the app once you have selected the route or zones you wish to travel in.
Remember, you need to purchase an additional ticket if you plan to use the metro, bring your bicycle, or travel beyond the zones covered by your Pendler20. You can also include the metro when purchasing Pendler20 if you regularly travel in zones 1-4.
Supplement tickets
In Rejsebillet, you can buy add-on tickets if you need to bring your bike on the metro or if you wish to travel with DSB 1' (first class).
You can find add-on tickets under the "Other Tickets" section at the bottom of the app.
If DSB 1' is available on your chosen route, you can purchase this add-on as follows:
- Open the Rejsebillet app.
- Tap on "Other Tickets" at the bottom of the screen.
- Select "DSB 1' Add-on."
- Purchase the ticket for the desired route.
Please note: This add-on grants access to DSB 1' on applicable segments of your journey but does not include a seat reservation.
Order Youth card
Are you a student in Jutland, on Funen, or on Bornholm? Then this is how you order your Youth Card for Rejsebillet:
You need to use MitID to retrieve your approval at ungdomskort.dk. You can choose between a plastic card or using the Rejsebillet app.
Note: You will need to use both ungdomskort.dk and mitungdomskort.dk during the ordering process.

Go to ungdomskort.dk and log in with MitID. If your education is approved, an approval for the Youth Card is already waiting for you.
If there is no approval, you must contact your upper secondary school or educational institution.
2:
Your approval is now transferred to mitungdomskort.dk, where you order your Youth Card.
You can choose between a plastic card or using the Rejsebillet app.
On mitungdomskort.dk, you also select the periods during which you want to use your card. You can deselect periods, for example when you are traveling, so you only pay for the time you actually travel.
3:
Once you are approved for the Youth Card and have asked to have the card transferred to Rejsebillet, you will receive a notification about payment. So remember to allow notifications in Rejsebillet.
When the payment is completed, you can select the periods you want to pay for. Deselect periods you already know you won’t need the card and therefore don’t want to pay for.
4:
Now you need to import the card in Rejsebillet under the menu item ‘Other tickets’ and ‘Import my Youth Card’.
You’ll need your MitID and an email address. Then you can proceed to pay for the Youth Card in Rejsebillet.
5:
You’ll be able to see your Youth Card in Rejsebillet no more than 24 hours after payment under Other Tickets.

Renew and change Youth card
Are you studying in Jutland, on Funen or Bornholm, or are you 16–19 years old? Then this is how you renew and change your Youth Card:
By default, your Youth Card is ordered for your entire period of education with renewal every 30 days. You can change the validity period yourself and insert breaks if needed at mitungdomskort.dk. You can choose validity periods between 30 and 123 days at a time.
You can change the validity period in Rejsebillet or at mitungdomskort.dk. There may be times when you don’t need your Youth Card — for example during holidays or stays abroad.
When you’ve chosen to have your Youth Card in Rejsebillet, the next period of your Youth Card will automatically transfer to the app. The card will renew with the number of days you’ve selected on mitungdomskort.dk.
You’ll get a notification 4 days before your current period ends that the next period is ready for payment.
In My tickets, you can click on the ticket and pay for it.

Important: If you have chosen a payment agreement on mitungdomskort.dk, your Youth Card will renew automatically.
Change Youth card from card to app
Translation:
When switching to Rejsebillet, you must change the delivery type on mitungdomskort.dk:

To transfer your Ungdomskort to Rejsebillet, go to Profile and enter the same email address you used on mitungdomskort.dk. Your card will then be transferred to Rejsebillet automatically.
Your Ungdomskort will appear under 'My tickets' no later than 1 day before the period starts.
Translation:
The Rejsekort card will be phased out in 2026. You can therefore benefit from having your Ungdomskort in the Rejsebillet app already now.
Your upcoming periods will be delivered automatically in the app after the current period expires, so there is no need to close or request a refund for your current Rejsekort.

In the Rejsebillet app, you retrieve your Ungdomskort under the menu item 'Other tickets' at the bottom of the home screen. Select ‘Retrieve my Ungdomskort’ and log in using MitID.
Your Ungdomskort will appear under 'My tickets' no later than 1 day before the period starts.
You will find your Youth card in Rejsebillet under My tickets. Find My tickets in the menu front app in the bottom.
Who can get a Youth card?
You can get a Youth Card for travel with public transport throughout Denmark if you’re a student or a young person aged 16–19.

Your Youth Card automatically expires when your approval from your educational institution ends or when you turn 19.
Until the card expires, the following applies:
Your Youth Card is valid for 30–123 consecutive days at a time, starting from the 1st of a selected month.
On the last day of validity, the Youth Card expires at 03:59 AM.
So if you need to travel after 4 AM the following day, you must renew your Youth Card in the app beforehand.
Yes, if you are between 16–19 years old, you can order a Youth Card right away.
It requires no approval, so you can go directly to ordering at mitungdomskort.dk.
Discounts with and refund of Youth card
With your Youth Card, you can get discounts on travel outside your local area. Here’s how:
Travel in Jutland and on Funen

Train travel within local fare zones:
You can travel with a regular Child ticket or a Rejsekort (Flex or Anonymous, traveling as “Child”).
You get a minimum 50% discount. -
Train travel across local fare zones:
You can travel with a Youth ticket or a Rejsekort (traveling as “Young”).
You get a minimum 25% discount. -
Bus travel outside your local fare zone:
You can travel with a regular Child ticket or a Rejsekort (Flex or Anonymous, traveling as “Child”).
You get a minimum 50% discount.
Travel on Zealand and the islands

You can travel with a regular Child ticket or a Rejsekort (Flex or Anonymous, traveling as “Child”).
You get a minimum 50% discount.
Travel across the Great Belt (Storebælt)

You can travel with a Youth ticket or a Rejsekort (traveling as “Young”).
You get a minimum 25% discount.
You can always travel freely on the Metro if your Youth Card is valid for zones 1–4.
You can get a refund for your valid Youth Card.
Note that the process depends on whether you live in Eastern or Western Denmark.
If you study/live in Jutland, on Funen, or on Bornholm:

If the Youth Card is not yet valid, you’ll get a full refund.

If the Youth Card is already valid, there is a non-refundable period of 8 days. This means the remaining days will be refunded minus 8 days. If there are fewer than 8 days left, you will not receive a refund.
For both cases:
You can request a refund directly in the Rejsebillet app under Profile > Previous purchases > Select the Youth Card – scroll down and click Refund.
Refunds only affect the selected card/current period, so remember to adjust your future periods or insert a break at mitungdomskort.dk.
If you study/live on Zealand, Lolland, Falster or Møn:
You must contact DSB to get a refund for any remaining period on your Youth Card.
