How to Get Your Money Back
You can receive your remaining balance and any remaining card price in two ways:
- In-person visit to a sales location - choose this option if you wish to remain anonymous.

Cash refunds depend on the sales location’s cash on hand.

Note: When using the web form, you forfeit your anonymity because you must provide personal information.
Refund deadline
The final deadline for refunds is June 29, 2027.
After that, the card will be automatically deactivated, and you will no longer be able to receive a refund of the remaining balance or the remaining card price.
Remaining Card Price
You can only receive a refund of the remaining card price if your Rejsekort Anonymous was purchased no later than December 14, 2024.
If your card has expired
If your Rejsekort Anonymous expired less than 12 months prior to June 30, 2026, you can have your remaining balance refunded at a sales location.

If you have lost your Rejsekort Anonymous
If your card is lost, it cannot be deactivated, and the funds on the card cannot be refunded, as described in the Rejsekort Terms and Conditions for Personal, Flex, and Anonymous cards.
Disposal of Rejsekort
After you have received your refund via the web form, you can dispose of the card. As a general rule, your Rejsekort should be disposed of as general waste, both at home and at the recycling center. If you’re unsure, follow your municipality’s waste disposal guidelines. The Rejsekort is made of plastic with a built-in chip that contains metal. The materials cannot be separated, so the card cannot be sorted as plastic.
