Alternatives to the physical Rejsekort
For those of you who prefer a physical card when travelling by public transport, a physical alternative will be introduced, namely the Basiskort.
If you have a personal Rejsekort, we recommend that you switch to the Rejsekort app when the physical Rejsekort closes. With the Rejsekort app, you get many of the same functions and options that you know from your physical Rejsekort. The app can be used by everyone, regardless of whether you are a child, young person, adult, pensioner both under and over 67 years of age, or have a disability. Here you can read more about the Rejsekort app, and you can download it in the App Store or Google Play.
You can also choose the physical card alternative, the Basiskort. The card can be used to travel if you are an adult, a young person over 18 years of age, a pensioner both under and over 67 years of age or have a disability. Later in 2026 it will also be possible for children and for those of you who wish to travel anonymously to travel with the Basiskort. Here you can read more about the Basiskort and where you order it.
If your child has a physical Rejsekort, it will also be possible to use the physical Basiskort for children. You can read more on this page: Basiskort for children
