For you with a Rejsekort Anonymous
29 June 2026 is the last day you can travel using your physical Rejsekort. Both cards and check-in terminals are being phased out, as the terminals rely on older technology that must be replaced.
28 May 2026 at 23:59 is the last day you can check in using the physical Rejsekort on:
• buses, local trains, and light rail services in Jutland and on Funen
Your check-in remains valid after midnight and continues to function as a valid ticket—even if you are inspected by ticket inspectors. However, you cannot check in again after midnight if you change transport mode during your journey. When your journey is fully completed, you can check out until 06:00 on 29 May 2026.
29 June 2026 at 23:59 is the last day you can check in using the physical Rejsekort on:
• buses, metro, local trains, and light rail services in Zealand, Lolland, Falster, and Møn
• DSB trains across Denmark and to Hyllie, Triangeln, and Malmö C in Sweden
• GoCollective trains in Jutland and on Funen
Your check-in remains valid after midnight and continues to function as a valid ticket—even if you are inspected by ticket inspectors. However, you cannot check in again after midnight if you change transport mode during your journey. When your journey is fully completed, you can check out until 06:00 on 30 June 2026.
If you are travelling across the country using multiple transport modes—for example from Copenhagen to Aarhus and then continuing by bus or light rail—please note that your Rejsekort is only valid up to Aarhus Central Station. You will therefore need to purchase an additional ticket for the rest of your journey.

How to travel in the future
Even if the physical Rejsekort is being closed, you can fortunately still travel by bus, train, metro and light rail. Read more here and see an overview of your options below:
Rejsekort app: Check in and out in the app and pay for your trips on an ongoing basis at the same price that you know from the physical Rejsekort.
Rejsebillet app: Buy your prepaid ticket, Commuter Card or Youth Card in the app.
Basiskort – physical card: Check in and out on stands and pay for your trips on an ongoing basis at the same price that you know from the physical Rejsekort. Travel anonymously by topping up the card.
