Payout of remaining balance and remaining card price when closing the physical Rejsekort Anonymous
Get your money paid out before 29 May 2026
To close your anonymous Rejsekort before 29 May 2026, you can either:

Visit a sales outlet and ask them to close your card. Any remaining balance on the card will be refunded immediately to your payment card.

If you wish to remain anonymous, you can receive the refund in cash immediately. Please note that sales outlets may have a limited amount of cash available if you request a cash payout.
If you close the card before 29 May 2026, you will not receive any remaining card price refunded.

Complete the web form found further down this page after 28 February 2026. Please note that even if you complete the form before 29 May 2026, any remaining balance on the card and any remaining card price will not be refunded until after 14 June 2026.
Note: You will lose your anonymity, as Rejsekort & Rejseplan A/S will store your information until the payout has been completed.
If you purchased your physical anonymous Rejsekort no later than 14 December 2024, you may be eligible for a proportional refund of the remaining card price. The remaining card price will always be lower than the 80 DKK you paid for the card at the time of purchase.
If you have lost your anonymous Rejsekort, unfortunately it cannot be closed and your money is lost.

You can receive a payout no later than 28 May 2027. After this date, your card will be closed automatically, and it will no longer be possible to receive a refund of your remaining balance or remaining card price.
Remaining card price
Under certain conditions, you may receive a refund of the remaining card price. The remaining card price represents the value of the card relative to when it was purchased.
When the Rejsekort system closes on 29 May 2026, your Rejsekort will close at the same time. Under the conditions below, you may receive a refund of the remaining card price after 28 May 2026.
Conditions for refund of the remaining card price:

You paid 80 DKK when you purchased the card.

The card is valid for 5 years.

When the physical Rejsekort closes on 29 May 2026, there may be remaining validity on the card that you can no longer use.

If the card was purchased no later than 14 December 2024, you will receive a partial refund of the card price corresponding to the remaining validity after closure.

As the card has already been used, you will receive less than the 80 DKK originally paid.
The final amount of the remaining card price will only be confirmed when the refund is processed after May 2026.
The remaining card price will always be lower than the amount you originally paid for the card.
