bestilling The first time you order

The easiest way to order a new Rejsekort is by ordering it through our Self Service. You will receive the card by mail 7–10 days after ordering it. If you would like your new Rejsekort immediately, the best option is to stop by one of the Rejsekort retailers that issue cards.

Please register with NemID the first time you visit our Self Service to be able to order a Rejsekort.

Ordering a Rejsekort without a payment card
It is possible to order a Rejsekort through our Self Service even though you do not have a payment card. In that case, you will receive an invoice for 150 kr. The first 50 kr. will cover the price of issuing the card while the remaining 100 kr. will be deposited on the card so that you have a balance to travel for.

If you would like to buy a Rejsekort Personal or a Rejsekort Flex at a retailer, please remember to bring two forms of ID, e.g. your driver’s licence and passport.

rejsekort Card types

No matter who you are and where and how much you travel, the Rejsekort Personal will offer you the most possibilities.

You can add a commuter area to the card, get larger discounts if you travel a lot on Funen and in Jutland, and travel for less as a “Young Person” or “Pensioner” in some areas.

With a Rejsekort Personal, you can add a commuter area to your card, have the card topped up, and have periods renewed automatically.

A Rejsekort Personal will also give you discounts automatically and give you access to our Self Service and apps, e.g. if you should forget to check out. A Rejsekort Personal will also ensure that you get the largest possible discount if you travel a lot on Funen and in Jutland.

Add a commuter area to your card
If you choose a Rejsekort Personal, you can add a commuter area to the card if you need it. In such case, you will prepay a set amount to travel in certain zones. Outside the zones, you will travel with all the benefits of a Rejsekort. This card type is called Rejsekort with commuter combination.

If you no longer need to commute, just refrain from renewing the period, and the card will function as a regular Rejsekort.

You can choose to add a commuter area to your Rejsekort if you have a Rejsekort Personal.  In such case, you will prepay a set amount to travel freely in the zones of your choice. If you travel outside your commuter area, you will only be charged for the part of the journey that is outside the chosen area.

Add a period through our Self Service
Log in to our Self Service and choose the card to which you would like to add a commuter area. Click on “Season Pass” to start the order process, and then choose your commuter zones and period length. You can also choose whether you would like an agreement that automatically renews your periods.

Please remember that you can transfer your chosen commuter areas by checking in within your commuter area. You also need money on your card in order to travel – even within the commuter area.

You can get help with adding a commuter area to your Rejsekort at selected Rejsekort retailers.

You can always see your commuter area or when the period expires by logging in to our Self Service or by inserting your card into a Rejsekort vending machine. Should you choose not to renew the period, your Rejsekort will work as a regular Rejsekort.

Because you share it with others, you cannot add a commuter area to your Rejsekort Flex. You can use our online Self Service and apps, but will get a smaller discount than with a Rejsekort Personal when you travel on Funen and in Jutland.

You automatically get discounts with a Rejsekort Anonymous and can share it with others. However, you cannot use our Self Service or Check Udvej.

Moreover, when you travel on Funen and in Jutland, you will get a smaller discount than if you use a Rejsekort Personal. You are also charged a larger prepayment on all journeys.

If you are travelling between the regions in Denmark you have to upgrade you card at a Rejsekort vending machine or with the busdriver before the journey.

With a Rejsekort Anonymous, an “Adult” customer type will prepay 70 kr. for a regional journey and 600 kr. for a journey between regions, whereas a “Child” will prepay 35 kr. on a regional journey and 300 kr. for a journey between regions.

Travelling between the regions means:

  • Travelling across Storebælt and Lillebælt
  • Travelling between Sydtrafiks, Midttrafiks and Nordjyllands Trafikselskabs regions.

If you lose your Rejsekort Anonymous you will lose the balance on the card.

The card cannot be ordered online. Please find the nearest retailer here.

You can also buy a Rejsekort anonymous at Rejsekort vending machines at all Metrostations, at DSB's vending machines at Copenhagen Central Station or in Copenhagen Airport.

With a Commuter Pass, you can travel freely in some chosen zones at a fixed price for a selected period. You can use our Self Service and have your periods renewed automatically. However, you cannot travel outside your commuter area without a separate Rejsekort or a ticket.

Rejsekort Corporate is lent to employees, topped up automatically, and always ready for use. Orders and administration are handled by a dedicated contact person chosen by the workplace.

With a “Ungdomskort”, you can travel freely between your home and your place of study. A “Ungdomskort” also offers you the possibility of travelling with the same discount advantages as a Rejsekort “Young Person”.
