Visitors to Denmark
There are 3 types of rejsekort offered
and Rejsekort Flex
are primarily intended for people who live permanently in Denmark or who are resident here for a long time. However, non-residents of Denmark do have access to Rejsekort Personal and Flex, and are therefore eligible to obtain the same fares and discounts as Danish residents for non-concessionary passenger types.
If you have a Danish CPR and are resident in Denmark, you can order a Rejsekort Personal or Flex here
If you do not have a Danish CPR (personal identification) number or if you are not resident in Denmark, you can order a Rejsekort Personal or a Rejsekort Flex by completing these two forms
instead. Note that you must enclose required identity documentation, and provide a delivery address in Denmark to which the card can be delivered. This can be a temporary address, a summer house address, business address, etc. Also note that you must expect a delivery time of up to 2 weeks.
You can also purchase a Rejsekort Personal or Flex on selected point of sales where this service is available. Note that you must present required identity documentation. Find your nearest point of sale
where this service is available here.
If you are only in Denmark for a short period of time you can buy a Rejsekort Anonymous
. This type of travel card does not require an address or any personal details. The card costs DKK 80 (the card price is non-refundable). Please note that you must expect to add DKK 170 to the balance to cover the cost of travel. Click here to see were you can buy a Rejsekort Anonymous
If you want to travel between the different parts of Denmark, we recommend that you buy tickets at ticket vending machines or at a DSB ticket office. If you choose to travel between the different parts of the country using a Rejsekort Anonymous card, please note that you have to change the setting on your Rejsekort account to "høj forudbetaling" (national journey), which requires a prepayment of DKK 600. If you fail to do this, your card will not be a legally valid travel document.
To change the setting, go to a Rejsekort ATM or a point of sale. Find out which journeys are "national journeys" here
